China Netcom to Establish Broadband Alliance

China Netcom has called together top-level managers of well known Chinese and international gaming companies, Internet content providers and equipment makers, including Shanda, SMG, Ninetowns, Tencent, Lenovo, Dell and Cisco, to initiate a plan for a broadband alliance. The alliance will focus on content promotion, information portals and value-storage cards for broadband use.
